Benz Air Engineering is currently interviewing for engineers with a great interest in independent problem solving. This is a unique opportunity to work with a leader in the field of steam efficiency. Our engineers identify and analyze measures that increase efficiency and improve reliability of electrical and mechanical systems. He/she also leads the process of implementing these measures for our clients.

The ideal candidate will possess: degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or engineering technology; 3 to 5 years experience in engineering design and/or facilities operation, a broad knowledge of steam systems, understanding of utility (electric and gas) tariffs, rate structures and incentive programs; experience in performing energy audits and energy calculations, lifecycle economic analysis, and construction cost estimating; experience in project management and construction oversight, and experience commissioning, operator training and start-up of new systems or re-commissioning of existing systems. Good communication skills and demonstrated competence in technical writing are a must. Experience with energy performance contracting or design/build projects is a plus.

Most of our projects involve local travel to project sites, and sometimes national travel is required. We offer a competitive salary and benefits, commensurate with experience and employee potential.
